Inside the Brooklyn Bridge "Time Capsule"

Alison Grippo, one of our newest contributors, just got the opportunity to shoot the Brooklyn Bridge bomb shelter that's been in the headlines lately:

Now that I've come up from under the dust of the Brooklyn Bridge I thought you might be interested to see the shots. It's like a time capsule in there. Try and look at them individually and not through the slide show, I wrote up some info about them in case people are curious. The thing to know, the Dept. of Transportation told me that they would at minimum have flood lights and I couldn't/shouldn't bring anything with me. Apparently, floodlights, translate to a red flash light with two DD batteries and "best of luck to you!".
