Mark Wallinger

Turner Prize recipient Mark Wallinger is a strange fellow. His current exhibition is some sort of weird homage to Eadweard Muybridge, the 19th century photographer best known for his early use of multiple cameras to capture motion. The image above is a still from Wallinger's film Sleeper (2004), in which he dresses up in a bear suit and wanders around Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie at night.
