Four Women Photographers in Chicago

There's an interesting post on Karly Wildenhaus' blog about women in contemporary photography and the disconnect between the act of producing art and the overwhelmingly male dominated critical discourse used to make sense of this work. She goes on to compile a list of four local female artists you may or may not have heard of yet. Good stuff! I should say too that Karly's blog is a great place to read up on Chicago photography events and exhibitions. She's also co-editor of Remain In Light, a new publication for emerging photographers.
